Dr. Maxwell graduated summa cum laude from Temple University in 1998, with a major in Psychology and a minor in Cognitive Neuroscience. She received her Master of Arts degree in Psychology with a specialization in Behavior Analysis from West Virginia University in 2001. After taking several years off to conduct applied behavior analysis with pets in Philadelphia, PA, she returned to West Virginia University and completed her Ph.D. in Psychology in March of 2008.
